Fox Motel
Fox Motel is a compilation songs by John Fellman for his wife. But she and others liked them so much he decided to publish them in a solo acoustic EP. They”re simple songs about love and life together done with just John and his two guitars.
Special thanks to Chad at Natural Recording Studios for laying this down in one afternoon and for getting it mixed and mastered in the following week (I had a radio spot airing in 2 weeks to promote it, and it kind of had to be online by then).

Loose Ends
Loose Ends explores 10 years worth of musical inspiration, combining the songwriting talent of John Fellman with electric stand-up bassist Matthew Carey and Rob DeWidt on 5-string electric violin. The result is best described as “electrified orchestral folk.” Intricate acoustic guitar music is overlaid with beautiful string parts and simple melodies. Guitars were provided by some of the world””s best custom builders, including Charles Hoffman, Lloyd LaPlant, Bill LaPlant, Marshall Bruné, Ron Tracy and Tim Reede. The music touches on classic themes of life, death, relationships and history.

Point of Departure – Moving Parts
Point of Departure is an ongoing experiment to try to make different kinds of instrumental music by reinterpreting and redefining world view forms with unique instrumentation and an eye toward inventions in an improvise “fugue” format.
Moving Parts is a live collection of performances featuring acoustic guitar, mandolin, viola and percussion.

It’s What’s Inside that Counts
It’s what’s inside that counts… is a collection of my songs that contain performances by my friends in an effort to preserve some of a past large quantity of songs in some form to prevent them from being lost. Thanks to the generosity of friends, I had the privilege of producing the arrangements any way I felt would be interesting, with no thought of reproducing them live…although that is what I am currently doing with a small quartet. This collection is an acoustic guitar and piano-spined synthesis of rock, pop, reggae and other kinds of music with a positive message. Each song is different. There are only 10 songs listed on the outside cover, but there are 20 songs on the disc.
